One of the key engineering challenges involved supporting the existing staircase to allow it to gracefully suspend into the floor below without additional structural support underneath.
This innovative approach not only addresses structural considerations but also enhances the overall aesthetic flow of the space.

The rear extension of Terenure House features a striking cantilevered structure.
This architectural choice not only adds a modern touch but also allows for seamless glass-to-glass connections, flooding the interior with natural light.
