Kilbridge Lodge stands as a testament to innovative structural engineering, featuring a load-bearing masonry frame with precast columns around the perimeter and precast floor slabs. This project was designed with foresight, accommodating a potential future rooftop extension. Special attention was dedicated to ensuring the feasibility of this future addition with minimal impact on the existing frame. Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) challenges were expertly addressed through a variety of measures, including tree pits, permeable paving, and an attenuation tank. Notably, the civil design emphasized gravitational flow to eliminate the need for pumping, showcasing an effort to blend functionality seamlessly with environmental consciousness.
