Job Description
Join our team and leverage your BIM expertise to deliver high-quality, coordinated design documentation for cutting-edge engineering projects. You’ll be at the heart of our design process—transforming civil and structural engineering designs into detailed 3D models and drawings, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across all project deliverables.
What You Bring to the Table
-
Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
-
3+ years of hands-on experience producing BIM models and technical drawings for engineering projects.
-
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and CAD software, with a solid understanding of BIM standards and workflows.
-
Keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of civil/structural engineering drawings.
-
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and practices for model coordination and data management.
-
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, enabling you to work closely with engineers and other stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
-
Develop, set up, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for civil and structural projects, ensuring all elements are accurate and well-coordinated across disciplines.
-
Produce high-quality 2D drawings, plans, and schedules derived from the BIM models to support all project stages.
-
Work closely with engineers to interpret design sketches and concepts, and turn them into precise digital models and technical details.
-
Enforce and follow BIM standards and workflows to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
-
Assist in conducting clash detection and resolving coordination issues among architectural, structural, and MEP models to achieve a fully integrated design.
-
Support the team by managing document control for drawings/models and by mentoring less experienced technicians in BIM best practices (as needed).
-
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal BIM standards and workflows, helping evolve how we deliver coordinated, high-quality design information.
